Trainings & Workshops
I believe the tools that help people heal in the therapy room shouldn't stay there.
For the last several years I've brought expressive arts approaches into classrooms, conference rooms, and training spaces — at Yale, in schools across Connecticut, and in professional development settings for therapists and clinicians. The work looks a little different depending on the room, but the heart of it is always the same: giving people a creative, accessible way to understand themselves a little better.
These workshops are available for universities, schools and educational organizations, mental health professionals and clinical teams, and corporate and workplace settings.
Featured Workshops
Anxiety as Messenger: Understanding & Reframing Through Art
What if anxiety isn't the problem, but the message? This workshop invites participants to get curious about their anxiety rather than fight it, using expressive arts to explore what it might actually be trying to say.
Rest and Recharge: Finding Your Rest Rhythm Through Art
Rest isn't one size fits all, and for a lot of us, we've forgotten what it actually feels like. This workshop uses art-based exploration to help participants identify what genuine rest looks and feels like for them, and how to actually get there.
Cultivating Self-Compassion Through Expressive Arts
Self-compassion is easy to talk about and hard to actually feel. This workshop moves participants out of their heads and into a creative process that makes self-compassion something you experience rather than something you think about.
Ink and Insight: Navigating Perfectionism with Words and Art
For the high achievers, the overthinkers, the ones who are never quite done enough. This workshop uses writing and visual art to explore the roots of perfectionism and begin to loosen its grip.
